Born and raised in Las Vegas, Jerry Shapiro has dedicated more than two decades to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, competition, and coaching. As a husband, father, and lifelong Las Vegas local, Jerry understands the importance of building an environment where people can challenge themselves, build meaningful relationships, and become better versions of themselves.
His approach to Jiu-Jitsu extends beyond technique. He believes the discipline, accountability, resilience, and confidence developed on the mat should carry into every part of life.
After years of competing, coaching athletes of all ages and skill levels, and helping build one of the most successful BJJ programs at a premier MMA facility, Jerry created Shap Bros BJJ with a simple goal: build a community where people train hard, grow together, and genuinely enjoy being there.
